About Bob

Bob Longo is a family-man first, with two children, he learns as much from them as he imparts back. His lovely, supportive wife is always behind him, even when he left a safe corporate position to work for himself. The friendships he has developed are some of the most important things in his life. After spending several years in the corporate world, Bob branched out on his own. Currently, he runs a consulting business, focusing on corporate training and development. His job is to help other people do their jobs better, in order to make companies more efficient and profitable. He is expert in adult education, who is proficient in: needs analysis, course design, support material development, facilitation and ROI reporting. He uses tailored processes to implement learning strategies to meet business objectives. With a background that encompasses sales, management and of course training, Bob has the ability to understand many different facets of the corporate environment. He appreciates the concerns of the management but recognizes how change affects the sales force. He has technical aptitude, but still has the ability to translate "jargon" into English. Interpersonal communication has been a cornerstone of his own personal developmental process. Also he collaborates to create a resource network of top trainers from various disciplines and geographic centers. Bob's corporate training concentrations are: selling proficiency, computer skills, product knowledge, food safety, sexual harassment, competency development, performance planning and the hiring process.
